Bronx Science Key Club Committee Member Sign Ups 2015-2016
Hey guys! Do you want to get more involved in Key Club? Join a committee! By joining a committee you will be able to see the behind the works of Key Club and work with the board to make Key Club even better. But remember, by joining a committee, you accept the responsibilities of being a member of the committee. The five committees are Projects, Fundraising, Scrapbook, Social Media, and Public Relations. Below are your co-heads of each committee and a short description of each!

Projects Committee (Dante Schulz and Jerry Lau):
The Project Committee finds and organizes service events alongside the Key Club board. Members of this committee are responsible for finding events and forwarding any relevant information to their committee chair, who will, in turn, notify the club board.

Fundraising Committee (Michele Chen and Tsering Sherpa):
The Fundraising Committee raises money for organizations, causes and our club. Working alongside the club treasurer, the committee chairs plan and organize fundraising events. The members of the Fundraising Committee are responsible for brainstorming new ideas to raise money and carrying out these ideas.

Scrapbook Committee (Winni Yang and Carol Zhang):
The scrapbook committee creates either a traditional or non-traditional scrapbook filled with all our memories from the Key Club year. At the end of every Key Club service year, the scrapbook is entered into a contest at the Leadership Training Conference (LTC) under Bronx Science Key Club's name in hopes of winning an award. The members of the scrapbook committee are responsible for reaching out to members of the club asking them to collect photos from various events.

Social Media Committee (Jenny Chen and Tenzin Amdo):
The Social Media Committee updates the Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter with announcements, pictures, and videos from service events. The members of the committee are also responsible for making videos that are uploaded to the Bronx Science Key Club Youtube and Wolverine TV while also reaching out to members of the club to collect pictures.

Public Relations Committee (Jenifer Zheng and Samantha Vee):
The Public Relations Committee makes posters that promote Key Club and our service events. These include digital posters, non-digital posters, and flyers that advocate for our causes. The members of this committee also find petitions, raise awareness for these causes and encourage club members to write articles and take pictures.

Remember to sign up for only committees that interest you and by signing up you accept the responsibilities that come with being a member of each committee.
